FOLLOWING THE SAD NEWS ABOUT REMARKABLE ARTISTS'S DEATH, WE SHARE SOME OF HIS MOST REMARKABLE WORKS.
Christo (Christo Vladimirov Yavachev), Bulgarian artist best known for large scale installations, or in his own words ‘gentle disturbances’, died past Sunday in New York. His monumental collaborations with his late partner Jeanne-Claude, and their wholehearted aesthetic incorporates monumental displays of fabrics, distinct visual image, environmental installations, and snazzy controversial outdoors sculptors.
Couple that was born on the same day, worked together, and spent decades on planning and building their eye-popping installations and self-fund projects. Innovative, yet driven by traditional art concepts Christo and his wife colored the world with unique aesthetic that will continue to inspire us.
